Sebastian Di Loreto was able to use the chocking training to save an elderly person that was chocking with gum in late August. The man started coughing profusely but it was clear to Sebastian that he was not getting better so he approached him and asked if he was chocking and needed help. He nodded. One quick thrust and he was fine. He was very grateful.
It was super important that the information was fresh in my mind due to the online training he had done in preparation for the CPR refresh. To Sebastian, it felt great to know that all the training hours we put in matter in these moments.
Keep up the good work, Sebastian! Thanks for sharing your story!
